SPRING (GREEN) CLEANING

Date: cancelled due to school closure

Time: 6:30 - 8:30pm

Location: Tracy Simmons Design Studio (3307 Sacramento Street)

What: If you're like most people you would undoubtedly like to be more "green." But who has time to do the research, find the right replacements and implement all the changes? Not I! Most people need a little help.

During this two-hour workshop, let's take the first steps in making our homes more sustainable and less toxic. The conversation will be led by expert Friday Apaliski. We'll start with why plastic is problematic for the environment and your health. Avoiding it feels like a daunting task but we'll tackle the logistics: food storage and packaging, lunches, and even cleaning products. All is open for discussion.

You'll leave armed with knowledge and tools to make progress at home, as well as an all-purpose cleaner we'll make together.
